Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CW Education and Career Services website, Virtual Adviser, student tracker, counselor dashboard, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. About CW Education

 

CW Education and Career Services provides college-planning, educational-advisory, and related support services for students and families.

CW Education is not a college, university, school, testing organisation, financial-aid authority, immigration adviser, law firm, or medical provider.

​

2. Eligibility and Parent or Guardian Involvement

 

The Services are intended primarily for high-school students and their parents or legal guardians.

If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising a minor’s use of the Services.

Users under 13 may not provide personal information through the Services without verifiable parental consent where required by applicable law.

3. No Guarantee of Admissions Outcomes

 

CW Education may help students understand college-planning options, develop application strategies, organise deadlines, and access general guidance. However, we do not guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid, visa outcomes, test scores, internships, or any other outcome.

Admissions requirements, deadlines, policies, tuition, aid, and programme availability may change. Students and families remain responsible for confirming information directly with each college, university, or relevant organisation.

4. Accounts and Accurate Information

 

You are responsible for providing accurate and current information and for keeping your account credentials secure.

You must not:

• Share your login credentials with another person;

• Access another student’s, parent’s, counselor’s, or organisation’s account or information without authorisation;

• Attempt to bypass security, access restrictions, payment controls, or account limits;

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or disruptive purposes.

CW Education may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there has been unauthorised use, misuse, or a breach of these Terms.

5. Virtual Adviser

​

The Virtual Adviser uses artificial-intelligence technology to provide general college-planning guidance. It is an informational support tool and may occasionally produce incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information.

You should not rely solely on the Virtual Adviser for high-stakes decisions. Always verify important admissions, financial-aid, immigration, legal, medical, or other professional information with an appropriate qualified source.

Do not submit highly sensitive information to the Virtual Adviser, including passwords, bank-account or card information, government-identification numbers, medical information, or information that is not necessary for college-planning support.

6. Academic Integrity and Essays

 

The Virtual Adviser must not be used to generate, write, rewrite, or submit a student’s admissions essay, personal statement, supplemental essay, assignment, or other work as though it were the student’s own original work.

CW Education may provide general guidance, planning support, feedback, and educational information. Students remain responsible for following the academic-integrity policies of their schools and the application requirements of each college or university.

7. Documents and User Content

 

You retain ownership of the information and documents you submit to CW Education. By submitting content, you give CW Education permission to use it only as necessary to provide, support, secure, and improve the Services, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide any document or information you upload. Do not upload another person’s confidential information unless you are authorised to do so.

8. Paid Subscriptions and Payments

 

Certain Services require a paid subscription or other payment. Current prices, billing frequency, and included features are displayed at the time of purchase.

Where a subscription renews automatically, the renewal terms, amount, and billing frequency must be clearly shown before payment is completed. You authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you provide in accordance with the plan you select, until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription through your account settings or by emailing abby.boaitey@cw-education.com. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Refunds: No refunds are offered after the first session has started.

9. Intellectual Property

 

The Services, including the CW Education name, branding, website content, course materials, templates, software, and design, are owned by or licensed to CW Education and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Services and materials for your personal, non-commercial educational planning only. You may not copy, sell, distribute, publish, license, or create competing materials or services from CW Education content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal information.

11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. CW Education does not warrant that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

CW Education is not responsible for decisions made by colleges, universities, scholarship providers, testing organisations, government agencies, or third parties.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Changes to the Services or Terms

 

CW Education may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services when reasonably necessary. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
